Welcome to Reading Banners. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please review them thoroughly.

1. Accepted File Formats

For optimal processing and results, we accept artwork in the following formats:

PDF, PSD, AI, PNG, EPS, CDR, TIFF, and JPEG

Ensure files are at least 300 DPI for best clarity.
Include a 2-inch bleed on all sides to avoid unwanted cropping during finishing.

2. Artwork & Proofing Process

Upon submission of your artwork:

Our team will review and prepare your file for printing.
Please be aware: Pantone colours are not supported. All artwork will convert to CMYK, which may cause slight shade variations.
A digital proof will be sent for approval unless the file is print-ready.
You must check spelling, layout, and colours before approving.
Written approval via email is required to start production.
Approvals given after 1:00 PM may result in production beginning the next working day.

Minor colour variations (within 10–15%) can occur due to screen calibration and print processes.

3. Product Standards & Finishing Notes

We specialise in large-format prints intended for viewing from 2 metres or more, not for close inspection.

Expect size tolerance of approximately 2–5 cm.
Banners under 10 feet in height are made in a single piece.
Larger banners may feature professionally aligned joins to maintain your design.
Banners under 60 sq. ft. incur a hemming fee.

4. Shipping & Packaging Guidelines

Turnaround times start after artwork approval, not payment.

Standard dispatch is usually within 5–6 working days.
Items larger than 110 cm x 110 cm may be folded for delivery. Light creasing or slight discolouration from folding is not considered a defect.
If you prefer your banner rolled, select the “Rolled on Tube” option at checkout (additional charges may apply).
Delivery times, including express options, are shown at checkout.

5. Express Services

Priority production is available for urgent orders:

Same-day
24-hour
48-hour
72-hour service (subject to availability and artwork complexity)

Express jobs must be approved before 1:00 PM. Late approvals may incur a 50% express surcharge to meet the chosen timeframe.

6. Returns & Refunds Policy

Our custom-made products are eligible for returns only in these situations:

Print defects
Incorrect size not matching the approved specification
Missing finishing elements (e.g. eyelets or pole pockets)

What You Need to Do:

Report issues within 24 hours of receiving your order.

Include your order number and photos taken from 2 metres away clearly showing the issue.

Important Notes:

Do not accept parcels with visibly damaged packaging—accepting them may void eligibility for transit-related claims.
If a return is approved, return shipping is your responsibility.
Delivery charges are non-refundable unless an error or defect is confirmed.
Claims made outside the 24-hour window or issues from customer-approved artwork (e.g. spelling) are not eligible.

7. Fraud Protection & Order Validation

All items are weighed and photographed before dispatch.

Submitting false refund or chargeback claims may lead to legal action and recovery of associated costs. We take fraud seriously.

8. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights

All designs, layouts, and promotional visuals created by Reading Banners remain our intellectual property.

With your consent, we may showcase finished products or designs for marketing on our website, social channels, or other platforms.

If a refund is issued after artwork approval, a 50% design fee may be retained to cover production time and studio costs.

9. Liability & Disputes

Our total liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased. We are not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses.

In the event of a dispute, efforts will be made to resolve it amicably. If unsuccessful, the matter will be settled in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, with jurisdiction in Berkshire.

10. Pricing & Validity

All prices are quoted in British Pounds and are valid at the time of order. Prices are subject to change without notice.

11. Privacy & Communications

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. For details, please review our Privacy Policy.

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from us regarding your order. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time by contacting us.

12. Phone & SMS Consent

Providing your phone number indicates your consent to receive order-related calls and SMS from Reading Banners. You can withdraw this consent by contacting us at info@readingbanners.co.uk.

13. Final Terms

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Reading Banners regarding your order. Any waiver of any part of the Terms & Conditions must be in writing and agreed by both parties.
